Upper Slaughter is built on the banks of the River Eye which meanders through a mellow Cotswold landscape to Lower Slaughter about a mile away. The short walk from Upper to Lower Slaughter is not to be missed.
The village is surrounded by glorious countryside within a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty so walking options are plentiful. You can download some self-guided walks here.
We are perfectly situated for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds, including the popular market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, Burford, and Chipping Campden. The area is well known for its abundance of chocolate-box villages, beautiful gardens and historic houses. We’re 15 minutes from Daylesford organic farm.
